Share-A-Vision Productions is a small production company located in the San Francisco Bay Area specializing in memorializing your special occasions and events. Starting as a hobby we have gradually developed into a professional production company producing stellar memories for our clients.

SAV Productions was founded and is operated by Daniel D. White who has an extensive background in the show business industry having worked in theater and radio. While video production on the consumer level was not prevalent when Dan started his career in radio, working as a News Director he produced both daily news segments and documentaries on the air. As Dan says, "the techniques for producing an audio show versus a video show are identical..you just add pictures". These techniques are evidenced by the "teaser" videos available on our Video Gallery page. We take a very personalized, one-on-one approach to our clients working closely with those actually managing/producing the event to insure every detail is "caught on film" and nothing is left to chance. Frequently we will visit the event site prior to the shoot date to insure we have adequate power, light, check acoustics and interface with the owner/operator of the venue.

We began this enterprise when we observed many friends and associates were doing nothing to memorialize key events and milestones in their lives (significant birthdays, retirements, careers, children's events etc). Unfortunately in today's busy world, no one gave much consideration to saving memories unlike days gone by when family and friends would shoot old 8mm "home movies" of everything. When we proposed our services to several of these people we were not only met with instant acceptance but over and over we heard the same thing..."we never would have thought of this". Most significant in our memory is, after shooting a great retirement party several weeks later we received a voice mail message from the retiree expressing her very sincere thanks for what we did. Subsequently she passed away and her family now has these memories locked up forever; great satisfaction.

Presently DVDs of some of our productions are sold nationwide by the organizations who engaged our services to memorialize their history. We have never had an unhappy customer and we are always pleased when they take the time to write to us and express their pleasure with our products. We are attempting to keep our pricing reasonable to encourage more people and organizations to consider memorializing their memories. Most of these events only happen once...and they need to be treasured and viewed forever.
